Note on this answer: I do not discredit Hermione for… saving me. However, I do believe she would’ve saved anyone else, say, if they had been in my place, for sure. And I am thankful for that. I also believe that anyone from our side would’ve passed near, they would’ve saved any person in that situation (Or at least tried!)
The fact that it was casually Hermione who noticed (and we weren’t the best friends ever since what happened with Ron) doesn’t make me any less thankful; nor does it make her any more of a hero. Right?
Parvati did not come back to Hogwarts, I believe, for family issues. Nor did Padma, of course. I miss her big time, but luckily Seamus did come back and I hang out with him and Dean.
I didn’t want to fill my blog with rants or anything, but this is actually brilliant and people should upen up their minds a little bit. I’m not saying, start loving characters you hate or whatever, but just for once consider that what you praise to be perfect isn’t always like that… Oh and also, the fact that the “good” and “bad” things in Harry Potter seem to be so defined, should be reconsidered. Think about Snape, think about Dumbledore, think about everyone. Now rethink. Thrice. And remember, just because you don’t like a character it doesn’t mean you should fill the tag with hate. Merci.
